MOON FACE : Shattered Hearts | Storyline

Hediye, a young mentally handicapped girl who lost her parents, has spent most of her life in an Istanbul orphanage. When she comes of age, the orphanage director informs her of a relative in Izmir and provides her with money and a companion document issued in the name of Faruk. Faruk, struggling with bankruptcy, a breakup, and a burned-down cafe, reluctantly agrees to take Hediye to Bursa to stay with his mother, Saibe. Along the way, they discover Hediye sneaking in the trunk of the car, and together they embark on a journey of redemption and family. In Bursa, Faruk reunites with his childhood sweetheart, Zeynep, and decides to start anew. Despite their efforts, however, Faruk and Hediye receive a cold welcome from Aliye, their grandmother.
