ONCE UPON A JUDGMENT DAY | Storyline

Arife and her husband Dancer Civan make a living by entertaining people in rural areas of Anatolia. While on their way to a wedding, Civan suddenly suffers a heart attack and passes away. Arife is left alone and helpless in a cave, where she encounters three bandits. Fearing for her life, Arife begins to tell them stories, hoping to distract them from their intentions of harm. As Arife spins her tales, the bandits become captivated by her unique storytelling style, and they lower their weapons to listen until sunrise. Through her stories, Arife delves into the pain, troubles, and secrets of the bandits, laying bare their vulnerabilities. Now faced with a choice, the bandits must decide whether to kill Arife and bury their secrets with her or to repent and leave their land.
